The Education Technology Consultant (Sales Lead) is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for the company’s educational technology products and services. This role requires a deep understanding of the K-12 and higher education markets, as well as strong sales and consulting skills. The ideal candidate will be able to identify opportunities for new business, build relationships with key stakeholders, and provide expert guidance on how the company’s technology solutions can help improve educational outcomes.

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan that meets revenue goals and targets
  • Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with key decision-makers in K-12 and higher education institutions
  • Lead sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers
  • Conduct needs assessments and provide expert guidance on how the company’s technology solutions can meet the unique needs of each institution
  • Develop proposals and negotiate contracts with customers
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop messaging and positioning for the company’s products and services
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities
  • Attend conferences and trade shows to promote the company’s products and services

  • Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in educational technology

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, consulting, or a related field
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and meeting revenue targets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a diverse
    group of stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of the K-12 and higher education markets, including the challenges and
    opportunities facing these institutions
  • Ability to conduct needs assessments and provide expert guidance on how technology solutions
    can address these challenges
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel as needed
