A Recap of 'Beyond the Classroom'
On August 30th, we at GSA had the privilege of hosting “Beyond the Classroom,” at Google Philippines. In collaboration with Google, and with the support of our special guests Mary Manzano, Education Lead – PH, and Adrian Cruz, Customer Success Manager – PH, who delivered opening and closing remarks, our goal was clear: to empower educators and inspire students through innovative tools and solutions.
A Day of Learning
Beyond the Classroom was tailored specifically for educators from private, international, and public schools, bringing together a community passionate about transforming teaching and learning. Our speakers, Cassey Pelayo and Earl Velasquez, both Product Managers at GSA, led insightful sessions that showcased the versatility and potential of educational technology.
Cassey took the audience on a journey through the capabilities of Chromebooks, highlighting their accessibility, versatility, and affordability. The session featured hands-on demonstrations of accessibility tools designed to support students with diverse needs, empowering educators to create more inclusive learning environments.
Earl introduced Gemini, a powerful AI assistant integrated within Google Workspace. Unlike other AI tools, Gemini is designed with educators in mind, streamlining tasks and enhancing productivity in the classroom. This session provided practical insights on how educators can leverage Gemini to simplify administrative tasks and foster collaboration.
Hands-On Experience with Edxis Chromebooks
Throughout the event, participants had the opportunity to explore and experience Edxis Chromebooks, devices we proudly offer at GSA. The hands-on demo allowed educators to see firsthand how these Chromebooks can fit seamlessly into their daily routines, supporting both their professional needs and those of their students.
