That’s why we’re excited to share our recent Google AppSheet Bootcamp, designed to equip students with the skills to become citizen developers – all without writing a single line of code!
Event Overview:
As part of IMDA’s LEARN Roadmaps, we recently hosted a Google AppSheet Bootcamp for students from various Infocomm Media Clubs at the Google Singapore office from May 27th to 29th, 2024.
This immersive three-day experience introduced students to the world of app development, equipping them with the skills to create functional mobile apps without writing a single line of code.
Key Highlights:
The Bootcamp wasn’t just about creating apps; it was about empowering students to become “Citizen Developers.” Here are several key focus areas:
- Core Principles of App Design (UI/UX): Students learned essential design principles to create user-friendly interfaces.
- Data Integration: Hands-on experience in integrating data for seamless app functionality.
- Design Thinking Concepts: Emphasizing problem-solving and user-centric design.
- Prototype Development: Participants developed three prototype apps, showcasing their creativity and newly acquired skills.
