Empowering Malaysian Educators with Innovative Learning Tools
On March 20th, GSA in partnership with Google hosted ‘Beyond the Classroom’, a pioneering event designed to equip Malaysian educators with cutting-edge tools and strategies to revolutionize their teaching environment.
The afternoon kicked off with a warm welcome from Azrina Azmi, Adoption Lead for Malaysia and Singapore at Google. Following the welcome address, Alan Wong, head of Training and Innovation at GSA, took the stage to talk about “Smarter Schools, Smarter Students: Unleashing the Power of AI in Education”. This session explored how AI can be leveraged to personalize learning experiences and empower students.
Next, ‘Transforming Teaching, Empowering Learning with Practice Sets’ offered practical guidance on leveraging Practice Sets to boost student engagement and refine assessment methods.
The afternoon transitioned seamlessly between innovative ways to actionable strategies. With that, we ended the day with the “Zero-coding App Development with Google AppSheet”. This final session showed educators how they can incorporate Design Thinking concepts through App creation using Google AppSheet in their classrooms.
