
Did you know that you can now create an event in Google Calendar without having to open up the Google Calendar page? You can now add an event in Google Chrome address bar (Omnibox) directly.
The format that you will need to use to initiate this creation would be as follows:
create event [day of week] at [time of day + AM/PM] [details]
So, for instance, to create an event “Retreat” for this Friday from 10AM to 5PM, you can use the following format:
create event Friday from 10AM to 5PM Retreat

Clicking on the Create event link in the info card will create the event as per the following screenshot.

That is all you have to do to create a calendar event directly via the omnibox. So easy! Try it today!
